awesome-wasm-langs
😎 A curated list of languages that compile directly to or have their VMs in WebAssembly
Programming languages are tools. Tools are designed for purposes. Javascript, in this metaphor, like a hammer with a sharp point at the bottom of the handle -- yes, someone who's careful and experienced at using that kind of hammer can probably avoid causing harm with that point, but that doesn't make it OK that somebody decided to put a spear at the bottom end of a hammer. That's a poor design choice, like much of what's in Javascript. When your hammer is so poorly designed that someone is selling an add-on smooth cap that can be installed over the point and is successful in doing so, you know you've fucked up from a design perspective.
I do it in professional projects. Try Nest.
