  • Most font foundries follow the government standardized form, but there are still some fonts that follows the traditional printing orthography such as old fonts from DynaFont (e.g. DFMing series), Traditional Chinese fonts from FounderType foundry (e.g. LanTingHei on Mac for Traditional Chinese). Do note that they did not follow Kangxi Dictionary exactly, some forms are modified to fit Chinese traditions. A more modern traditional printing orthography font can be found at https://github.com/ichitenfont/I.Ming, which is a collection of suggested forms that fit the character etymology while still maintaining the printing orthography.
