Port of Long War 2 to XCOM 2's War of the Chosen expansion

  • 1) Dev 29 was the steam release candidate. 2) The dev builds are for feedback, and testing. Dev30 introduces major changes to the strategic layer (geoscape), and Dev31 builds off that with changes to the chosen. They require setup in AML which i believe is still detailed on the github page. https://github.com/long-war-2/lwotc/wiki/Installing-Long-War-of-the-Chosen You will need to unsub from the steam version, and the highlander and include the ones in the dev package. The "nerf" to the chosen is not a nerf, its a change, the warlock became alot stronger, and the hunter becomes much more dangerous later in the campaign now. 3) Subscribing to the steam version, and the required mods is how you do play the release version. If using AML you should have the 7 (8 mods if you have the DLC) enabled, the when you launch the game, you should see a "long war of the chosen" option where "new game" was previously. 4) Currently, I would say experimental. Especially the geoscape changes, that will take testing, and tuning. I am unsure what the plan is for a steam-release of them, and at this time, the dev30 changes will be a ways off. Paledbrook is currently on haitus, and so changes and the future of that depend on his return (for dev30 changes at least)
