Ah you're right, that works! Following your suggestion, I opened this PR, which I'm currently testing: https://github.com/j-hui/fidget.nvim/pull/25
For now, this plugin only supports showing LSP progress. I'm open to suggestions for other widget sources, as long as they don't complicate setup/configuration. (I also don't want to overstep into ongoing work on popup.nvim.)
Thanks for clarification. Just suggestion, you could probably track table with all these servers with checks where it is confirmed that it works. Because as a person who barely understands lsp protocols, it looks like your plugin works with 3 lsp servers only. Just idea, even thou u kinda explained it in repo.
I hope it worked also with typescript-language-server on loading project. Doesn't it support LSP Progress?(I found this PR but I'm not sure it's that we need)
