Daily Kintsugi: I was wrong about lodestar being fully functional after removing the --network mainnet flag from my validators. Even though this temporarily got rid of the Invalid length index errors, they came back after a while, and lodestar still has failed to propose any blocks with any EL client. GitHub Issue Dashboard for kintsugi-lodestar-besu added. Regarding the mining flag curiosities I found with besu:
