I initially had the rPi inside the printer, so it looked completely stock, but the wifi connectivity was abysmal, so I mounted it on the back of the printer - having to make a small hole to pass USB and four wires through. You can find my 'backpack' stl files here and here. I take a couple of pics of the printer once I get home.

The other thing that I added was the top stats bar (black bar with options and temps), this needs some extra stuff like a full-on webserver, python libraries, and DHT22 sensors, but not super difficult. My files the make that interface up are here.
