Developers don't appreciate Flutter Web enough

  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • ResponsiveFramework

Easily make Flutter apps responsive. Automatically adapt UI to different screen sizes. Responsiveness made simple. Demo: https://gallery.codelessly.com/flutterwebsites/minimal/

  • At Codelessly, we're building a design to code converter that converts Figma designs into working app and website code. For those that don't know, Figma is a popular design tool. In order to achieve our target goal of 99% conversion accuracy, we realized that we needed to recreate Figma and implement the Figma API spec. Therein lies the problem, recreating Figma requires building a canvas rendering framework.

  • Flutter

Flutter makes it easy and fast to build beautiful apps for mobile and beyond

  • Would love to see this! It gets "trotted out" because no one knows how to do this right now, and the flutter team is not exactly filling us in with their plan :D https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/46789

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • pcui

UI component library for the web

  • And of course the fact that Figma, Miro, etc. are actually running in the browser (IIRC Figma is written in C++ and cross compiled with emscripten, at least it was in 2017) and aren't written with Flutter is an indicator that Flutter also has competition here. Here's a WebGL based GUI framework, for example. (And unlike Flutter, it has a built-in tree view and built-in context menus, just saying.)
