The cable modem and router are in a closet downstairs (due to the location of the coax drop), for that I have an 800w APC Back-UPS. I use Cacti (https://www.cacti.net) for most of my monitoring, including UPS’s. The community has developed a lot of good addons for monitoring different UPS’s, but if your a good hand with SNMP you can likely get develop your own for use in Cacti.
