Just for the sake of completion: the development environment that can be found at https://code.cs50.io/ can be opened in both the browser and vscode itself. What about the docker image that i'm running (https://github.com/cs50/codespace), does it offer browser access?
I don't know, but you could use something like https://theia-ide.org/ to run inside the container. There are a lot of tutorials and guides, but it's getting complicated, especially since all you need is just the dependencies.
