As far as I know, neovim doesn’t have access to fonts itself as it is a terminal application. Presumably, you’d have to set the font in your terminal’s configuration. At least, that’s how I did it. Of course, if you’re using a gui (such as neovide), that’ll be different, and I haven’t any experience with that.
I, personally, never got on with the in-built terminal. I find tmux to be a better alternative.
There are pre-built IDEs based on neovim (such as LunarVim) if you aren’t interested in doing it yourself. However, if you are, feel free to look through my config if that helps.
