internet-speed-logger
Open source application to track your internet download and upload speeds with an elegant web interface.
I'm looking for alternatives to Speedtest tracker, I don't like the lack of customizability of speedtest tracker... And I'd like a more in-depth view of my internet speeds. If you know of any good alternatives please let me know in the comments!
If you're still looking, I've found SpeedTest++ (uses Ookla servers) recently and it seems pretty nice. Adds jitter like you were referring to. But it's CLI only so you'd have to pipe the results into something like Grafana to get your graphs.
I wrote this a couple years back when I was an engineer at Ookla - nice way to visualize: https://github.com/brennentsmith/internet-speed-logger
