Sure! I use tags to distinguish 3 types of notes: Papers, concepts/methods and topics. Paper notes are created using the citations plugin https://github.com/hans/obsidian-citation-plugin and concept plugins are 'evergreen-like' notes explaining some concept in a way I understand them.
I use the Breadcrumbs plugin https://github.com/SkepticMystic/breadcrumbs to assign papers and concepts to topics, and then create a hierarchy of topics. This allows me to quickly find related papers and concepts. Furthermore, I use the Supercharged Links plugin to visually distinguish these three types of notes to quickly scan a note for eg what topics are relevant, or what papers I should keep in mind, screenshot here: https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/855181471643861002/896325319101923348/unknown.png
