To that extent, we have published the FreeSewing v3 roadmap. It is a list of all the things that we would like to see happen in the next major release. And it's open for feedback, suggestions, and ideas. In other words, if there's something you always wanted to see in FreeSewing, or if you've got some great ideas for us, now is the time to chime in.   Semantic Versioning Specification

  

Still, there's a number of things we'd like to do but we can't. Or at least not without breaking a bunch of stuff, which we won't because FreeSewing practices something called semantic versioning. That's a fancy term that boils down to version numbers that looks like major.minor.patch. For example: 2.18.1.
