We are pleased to announce that the APA Technology Division will be participating in this year’s Hacktoberfest! Hosted by cloud computing company, DigitalOcean, Hacktoberfest is all about encouraging contributions to free and open source projects. Hacktoberfest begins on October 1st and ends October 31st. During this time, planners and individuals in planning-adjacent professions can submit resources to the urban-and-regional-planning-resources GitHub repository for the chance to win some cool prizes!
This website has links to both the github repository, and a google form for submissions. There will be prizes awarded for the best submissions including city t-shirts, tote bags, and a custom laser cut city map. The APA Technology Division will host a Zoom event on September 30th. In this event, we will explain the submission and scoring process, and answer any questions people may have.
