Need to add \n at the end of each line that has a comma

I'm using Jobson ui to have a GUI for uploading Youtube videos from a headless server. What I need to do is make a Json file from a bash script and for the description in the json, I need to have \n to indicate a line break. I am using jq in the bash script and placeholders generated from Jobson fields. One of the fields is an array, and at the end of each line, Jobson automatically puts in a comma. Is there some way that I can replace the comma at the end of each line with \n (\n needs to appear in the .json file itself), and not all the commas either?
