In this sidechain, the whole security is based not on transaction signatures, where people sign transactions and join them later to form one mainchain transaction, but on miners and their acceptance. They vote "yes", "no", or skip voting at all. And when they don't vote for more than 150 blocks, then mainchain coins are unlocked.
