FYI: v2 vaults of yearn were built from scratch and it's written in Vyper language (same as Curve's code), max priority is always security and one of the maintainers of the language is a permanent dev of yearn. Compared with v1, v2 vaults are around 15-20% cheaper in terms of gas consumed and v2 has a feature that allows the strategists to modify the withdraw queue by changing from which strategy the users withdraw funds, always minimizing the gas spent (example here).
