SMS/Messaging: I use Signal-Foss, but removes everything play store. It basically locks down regular SMS messages, so other apps you have can't read them. If you and someone else are using Signal, then the message will also be secure in transit. There wasn't a lot to consider on this front because it's pretty much a solved issue in my head. QkSMS didn't support "Share to Contact", so it was a no-go.
Well, latest versions of yuzu browser contain non-free dependencies , so it's not a bad idea to move away from it. I love it and still use it for some things, but if you care about privacy you may want to have another option
