It's 2020. Enough games (a majority on steam) are 64-bit, that there's a long thread full of vocal linux users asking for a 64-bit client that don't care about playing 32-bit games. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/3518

Not sure if this offtopic or not, but do UE4 Proton titles via DXVK and this work on Mint? I've been reading up on distros and this one looked more simple, but as I mentioned if you have better suggestions I'm open to almost any (I think I don't want ubuntu for now).
