    Arduino library for handling the ADNS 5050 optical mouse sensor

    • So I'd start by looking for a datasheet or library for it (quick google search turns up this repo) and then I'd start by trying to get some debug output.

  • nano-trackball

    A very small trackball-only mouse. Mechanical files, PCBs, and firmware all included.

    • you can get a ploopy nano which runs qmk, which has programmable USB midi support. I don't know of anyone has done this exact config before, but people have done midi encoders before. I recommend the qmk discord for more info.
