    • You can also try booting in nomodeset mode, which disables a lot of drivers and tries to run everything in software mode (extremely slow, but you might be able to get through the installer). If you can install it this way, it will probably still not boot after being installed, you need to boot the OS (already installed) in nomodeset again. Then you need to manually install a newer kernel on the OS. You can use Ukuu (here) to update the kernel on the currently running linux distro, for ubuntu based distros.
