Easy to use alarm system integration for Home Assistant

  • Similar to what's been mentioned, I use a Konnected Alarm Panel Pro that replaced an existing hardwired system. Everything is integrated through Home Assistant using the Konnected integration then setup as an alarm system using the Alarmo integration. This is then exposed to HomeKit which is what we primarily use to interact with our "smart home". I do have two wall mounted Amazon Tablets in the house that run a Home Assistant front end to disarm/arm the system as well as some NFC tags for a backup disarm option. Professional monitoring is also available through Noonlight, but I haven't set that up yet and not sure if I will.
