The extra layers are a blend of some of Halo 1's Xbox looping stems, and additional layers recreated by myself and Booey, together we're working on Project Odyssey, a year(s!) long project that has involved analyzing, researching and documenting finds, interviews and archiving knowledge on our quest to recreate the CE soundtrack in enhanced, redefined fidelity that aims to be more faithful to the original sound than the CEA soundtrack, released open source for modders to remix and adapt to new custom Halo content. No copyrighted material is used and everything in the release versions is/will be completely recreated from scratch, using a mix of software, hardware, and the original equipment that the real soundtrack was made with way back then!
