    • Once my layout is completed i'll export the board as a 3D Step file and import it into FreeCAD along with whatever box i'm going to use for this project (you can find models for your standard 1590* boxes on Hammond's website). I'll then position everything correctly including any washer i'd use in the final product. From there i know where the drilling holes sit perfectly and i can export a drawing i will use as a drilling template for exemple, or (even better) make a 3D printed drilling template to be even more precise (example).
