  • Ah btw you will need https://github.com/hamishcoleman/thinkpad-ec anyway to make a *30 motherboard to charge a *20 battery. That is also done via a EC firmware tweak. So you flash a special version of BIOS with that that has a special version of EC firmware - and you then can use *20 keyboard with *30 motherboard and that motherboard agrees to charge *20 batteries.
