Laravel echo sending the wrong type of request @_@

I am wondering - is there anything I am doing wrong here or this is Laravel Echo package being useless. I've tried few different approaches so far (including socket.io) and it turns out that always it is Laravel Echo that stands in the way.

In case you or anyone was wondering how to make that work in NuxtJs with laravel echo package - the support for that custom authorizer stuff has been added very recently and you will probabbly need to update your echo package in nuxt js to one of the latest alpha versions. Here is the github issue for that. Then it is a simple case of providing extra options file.
