  • i read somewhere that it is a good thing that the db throws errors such as foreign key constraint etc, if you are doing an explicit check first to see if the nickname exists and then doing the update then you are essentially doing 2 queries, i am not sure if their approach is correct or mine, thing is it starts throwing a bunch of constraint errors,am following the structure in this example like 100%
