lol. Yea I hate it too. I love Acrylic and reveal so much. I even made Acrylic (good enough for a browser, and accurate too) in pure css (and some js for, you know creating layers and appending them etc etc). I also tried making acrylic but it was inefficient and really slow and buggy/laggy (as expected). I'm currently trying to optimise it as much as possible. All this so I can contribute them to FluentUI (winui for the web which was the primary reason behind removing brushes (acrylic and reveal)) and maybe save those brushes, but looksnlike microsoft already made up its mind, cause the team said they would "think about it" (smth along those lines, I don't remember correctly) when I opened an issue for acrylic and reveal (You can search the issue up). Sad indeed.
