Use base16 styling or Vim themes?

I'll be honest, I've been using both base16 styling for my shell, but also Vim themes. The mixture seems less than ideal.

I've gone system wide with my theming. Using Nord everywhere possible as it's really easy on the eyes and has a lot of variants and integration support.
