Personally, I run the script sync (jacklul's) mentioned on the Fireblog site to sync the Fireblog scripts (green checked ones) and have 583,330 domains being blocked. Works fine.
Periodically running the adlist tool, as you add more lists, will help determine which of your lists are actually useful. I eliminated about half my lists by doing this.
