uc.css.js
A dark indigo CSS theme for Firefox and a large collection of privileged scripts to add new buttons, menus, and behaviors and eliminate nuisances. The theme is similar to other userChrome stylesheets, but it's intended for use with an autoconfig loader like fx-autoconfig, since it uses JavaScript to implement its more functional features.

oh, yeah that's what usually happens when you animate an element's position based on its hover state. it starts a feedback loop since hovering the element causes it to move, and therefore stop being hovered, and therefore move again, and therefore start being hovered again, and so on... haha. but it doesn't do that for me since my scrollbars cover up the rightmost 9px of the panel. that's why I didn't notice I guess. you can try doing the same thing I guess, the scrollbar stuff is in here, it needs to be loaded with this script. certainly looks better than the default scrollbars or the thin ones imo.
It's visible in the screenshot I posted. Here: https://github.com/im-hm/PitchDark_Fox/blob/main/alltabsview.png . I just asked, since I thought it could be done away with css, and I wasn't able to do it. I'll try to ignore it; though it's very annoying tbh.
I need help with another issue. To style tooltips, I did as you've detailed here: https://old.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/comments/dwpykf/problems_with_styling_tooltips/ . I didn't put userChrome.js in chrome folder though. The first scripts I installed were from here: https://github.com/xiaoxiaoflood/firefox-scripts . I used their loader to load your scripts, and Tooltips.uc.js too, and they work well on my main profile.
