Defi is a bit of a misnomer as it is typically used. It's custodial, it's centralized, and it can be turned off as is repeatedly demonstrated. We have real defi here on bitcoin as well as the same kind of fake defi you are likely referring to. For the fake stuff check out https://www.rsk.co/openfinance. It's an EVM clone built on bitcoin using merge mining and btc tokens. For the real stuff check out things like RGB https://rgb-org.github.io/ which is a nascent off chain smart contract platform, which is where this kind of work is more appropriately done centralized or decentralized. There are also services like BISQ https://bisq.network/ which is a decentralized exchange.
Yeah, bitcoin.org is ok, bitcoin.com is not good, but BCH is kinda lit I don't get why they hating on it, it's currently working perfectly as p2p cash
Mycelium is not an SPV wallet as far as I know. On my phone, I use BRD wallet, which is (https://github.com/breadwallet/breadwallet-core). It connects to peers in the same way a node would.
