bromite
Bromite is a Chromium fork with ad blocking and privacy enhancements; take back your browser!
For android, I don't really have many good tips. The android emulators didn't work and i tried the Android Emulator M1 Preview but it has many restrictions that prevented me from using it. I see now it's been added to the SDK Manager to perhaps they've made further updates. I will try it again when I have some time. I've been using my Windows laptop for Android dev.
My app relies on OAuth for authentication and requires Chrome to allow the user to authenticate. (I'm using react-native-app-auth.) I basically can't use the app without logging in first. The Chrome issue is which is why i can't use the emulator :(
If official Google one won't work I would try alternatives like https://www.bromite.org or https://andi34.github.io/app_chromium.html or any other browser.
