Pokemon-Perfect-Crystal
The goal of this hack has been to make an idealized definitive version of Pokemon Crystal that has every Pokemon available to catch and to fix a number of glaring glitches that hampered the original game.
editing pokemon base stats and stuff can be done thru pokeditor. it says it has support for gen 5, but there are no gen 5 templates, so... read the instructions closely and use it with caution. there might be other editors for pokemon data out there too.
looks like polished crystal is actually open-source. you can build the rom the same way you build the pokecrystal decomp - here's one guide on how to do that.
alternatively, if you'd like to use the decomp for this project instead, the wild pokemon encounters can be found in data/wild. the .asm files there can be edited like text files.
So I mixed something up here. I meant Pokemon perfect crystal, it's also on github https://github.com/Superegz/Pokemon-Perfect-Crystal I found Red and how to change him but I'm a little bit confused about the encounter rates, they are also under Data/wild but the numbers doesn't make sense to me. What is the db... under the route and the db before the pokemon?
