  • ThiefMD

The markdown editor worth stealing. Inspired by Ulysses, based on code from Quilter

Thanks! If you wind up testing it out, feel free to let me know what you think. If you find a bug or miss a feature, we're pretty responsive on GitHub Issues.

  • WriteFreely

A clean, Markdown-based publishing platform made for writers. Write together and build a community.

From 5 months ago to now, we've moved to libhandy, added Ghost/WriteFreely/Wordpress export, recessed headers, the option to hide links, focus mode, list continuation, "tab into focus", improved adaptive margins, and more.

  • SonarLint

Clean code begins in your IDE with SonarLint. Up your coding game and discover issues early. SonarLint is a free plugin that helps you find & fix bugs and security issues from the moment you start writing code. Install from your favorite IDE marketplace today.

  • writeas-vala

Unofficial Vala API client for https://write.as

5 months ago, I shared my Markdown Project on the GNOME subreddit. If you're interested in Open Source on Linux, since then, we've released a Write Freely Vala Client Library, Wordpress Client Vala Library, and a Ghost Vala Client Library. These are all basic libraries that support image uploading and posting for now.

  • pandoc

    Universal markup converter

ThiefMD is designed to manage large text projects, from blogs, to notes, to novels. We use PanDoc for export and import.

  • write-good

    Naive linter for English prose

Like most markdown editors, we have typewriter scrolling, focus mode, and live preview. Code Blocks support syntax highlighting for a majority of languages. We also have a selection of themes and support CSS for export formatting. Some of our secret sauce includes write-good suggestions based on btford's write-good, which we ported to Vala.

  • InfluxDB

Access the most powerful time series database as a service. Ingest, store, & analyze all types of time series data in a fully-managed, purpose-built database. Keep data forever with low-cost storage and superior data compression.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
