https://www.traccar.org/ - you can pay them for a monthly thing I believe, but you can also download and install the software on some dirt cheap cloud server and have your own tracking map. You can even install a client on an old phone for Traccar, then plug the phone into a charger and hide it well in the car, and put in a pre-paid sim. Cost is negligible but would give you tracking.
