NewsBlur is a personal news reader that brings people together to talk about the world. A new sound of an old instrument.

  • I use Newsblur, it’s open source and you can self host, but for the price of the service, I am happy to pay. There are apps for most every platform.

  • CommaFeed

Google Reader inspired self-hosted RSS reader.

  • I've been using commafeed for a few months now. The UI is closest thing to GReader I've seen. It's still light on features and no plugin option yet. But it works well and gets frequent updates.
