FxTS allow to easily work with concurrent promises. Here's a sample of the code I've used in my Tiled Hacker news project. In this case promises are executed by batch of 10. In case of an error when calling getStoryById it's not blocking the execution of promises in the batch or the execution of other batches. It's up to you to determine if it's what you need.
