We created an open-source example game to show everyone what's possible using JS! Also my buddy really wanted a game to play with his parents who's obsessed with Candy Crush. Here's a multiplayer demo that you can play alone. Indie devs in our community at Rune (a multiplayer game + voice chat platform) reached out for advice on JS game development. Initially, we made some docs & a small tic tac toe game. But we wanted something more substantial to share with the broader dev community, thus Outmatched! The graphics is made w/o any framework, just pure JS. And the slick animations are only CSS! Even if Match 3 isn't your thing, the open-sourced code should be still fun to mess around with!
