  • syncpack

Consistent dependency versions in large JavaScript Monorepos.

  • Instead, I'd recommend Syncpack today. In the future, we're interested in seeing if we can/should build a solution for tighter dependency control.

  • turbo

Incremental bundler and build system optimized for JavaScript and TypeScript, written in Rust – including Turbopack and Turborepo.

  • Awesome that you guys are considering implementing such a solution into turborepo - IMO this kind of solution belongs in either the monorepo tool (turborepo) or the package manager (pnpm). Dependency management is one of the hardest parts of implementing a monorepo so I think it would be awesome if you guys could release some documentation outlining the different strategies (like this github issue suggests).
