In Vim9 script, 'magic' is ignored, so a regex is always parsed with the same syntax by default. You can still use atoms like \v if you want though.

FWIW, I have a plugin which provides a mapping to automatically populate the quickfix list with the most recent errors. Coupled to an autocmd which automatically opens the quickfix window when it contains valid entries, finding from where an error has been raised takes little time.
