Snapdrop - Since it has a web version, this was the only file transfer solution that I actually tested with people outside of my social circle. At least half the time, it's a gamble whether it will work or not. The connection tends to drop in the middle of the process. I've tried both the app and the web version, but unfortunately, neither of them is reliable enough to save me from the awkward glances of those who want to help me by sending notes, video presentations, and other materials.

LocalSend- Seems that the iOS version is unable to detect other devices, as I have tested it on three different phones. While I was able to send files from my phone to them, none of my iOS friends were able to find my phone, even after entering the IP address (invalid error).
