  • dexios

A secure file encryption utility, written in Rust.

  • Rclone can be used on windows dexios has a wip gui app and borg yeah thats a linux only thing. You could probably use rclone itself though as it has tons of useful features like encryption.

  • Cryptomator

Multi-platform transparent client-side encryption of your files in the cloud

  • If all that sounds like to much work your best bet is probably cryptomator as for the whole file extension thing I'm sure you've heard this before but Security through obscurity is not something you should rely on. Just encrypt the file names with rclone automatically and you'll be more then set. You can even mount it as a "local drive" meaning it'll show up in your pc file explorer like this https://imgur.com/a/0E5fcA6 see mount B: which is done via rclone.
