I am not really bothered by it since there is an alternative (sidebase auth module) but it requires a good amount of setup and figuring out to be able to connect it, especially to something custom like Laravel instead of the usual auth providers like google, github, etc.

Nuxt3 can definitely be used for full stack. I'm building out a starter now that provides a full API backend with composables to make using the backend easy on the front end. You're welcome to have a look at it or even use it, but it's pretty early in development at this point: https://github.com/plainblack/ving
