I want to start and learn C, but where do I start?

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/C_Programming

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • gnu-c-language-manual

This is a mirror of Richard Stallman's GNU C Language Intro and Reference, available in Markdown and PDF.

  • On Windows I like GCC + WSL the most. Language version doesn't matter much, really. As for learning resources, there is the Stallman book and the Beej guide. Never followed through them but have heard good things about them, and the authors are more than qualified.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
