No Joplin does not support the email trick that Evernote uses. Evernote actually would issue you a custom email address for this purpose. However, there is this plugin that does something pretty similar, and that's awesome: https://github.com/joplin/plugin-email - I haven't tried it, but it says it can monitor an email inbox and import the notes there. So you could make yourself a new email address for this purpose, and anything sent there would be swooped
