  I have no clue what exact solution would only favor react, there are enough implementations for vue and even if not, most of the greater players have generic solutions, not vendor-locked integrations.

  I guess they want it to be framework agnostic, but it's still fully React-only. The Svelte portions of their docs are just placeholders and everything is WIP Source. In that same issue, you will find that it works already with Vue.
