I just made a connect 4 game on Godot. I have source code available. https://github.com/SKPY123/GodotConnect4 It's basically just running iterations of arrays in certain patterns backwards at a distance no more than what can be considered "winnable" for what you are checking for. Lmk if you want a better explanation.
