I’ve also found using DCS DTC was another huge change for me. While it supports the Hornet, I mainly use it for the Viper. Knowing BMS and what it’s like to having a functioning DTC, it always frustrated me customizing everything about the Viper in DCS manually such as display setup. This takes care of that.
