    I use JavaFX a lot, but I won't defend it. I think most of the people (myself included) choose JavaFX because it's Java, not because it's JavaFX. Likewise, people choose Electron because it's web apps for desktop, not because it's Electron (fyi, Tauri is also quite popular). There're no advantages JavaFX provides comparing to Electron. Web ecosystem is way more rich if we talk about UI. Likewise Java ecosystem is superior in terms of backend libs.
